Lots Of Traders Allegedly Kidnapped On Kaduna Road

 Traders travelling to Kano from Birnin Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State have been allegedly been abducted by bandits on Wednesday 12th Jan 2022


It was gathered that the bandits blocked the highway between Birnin Gwari and Kaduna at Unguwar Yako forest where they abducted the traders

A source who prefares anonymity said the vicitms, were likely on  a business trip  moving from Birnin Gwari axis to kano before they got kidnapped. 

According to the source, " We spotted four empty vehicles and they said unspecified number of person moving from Birnin-gwari axis to kano have been kidnapped."

It could be recalled that for a very long time,  the Birnin-Gwari road has remained  a hot spot  for kidnappers and bandits who terrorizes travelers going about their businesses and even some villages.

As at the time of filling this report, attempts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer at the Kaduna Police Command, Mohammed jalige to confirm the report proved abortive as his line was engaged.
